Golan Ramraz has been writing and producing for over twenty years. As a writer, Ramraz has written everything from animation to live-action, novels to features, originals to adaptations. Beyond his many clients, he's collaborated with the legendary Stan Lee (The Avengers), Oscar-winner Ronald Bass (Rain Man), Oscar-nominee David Mamet (The Untouchables), Pulitzer Prize-winner Lanford Wilson (Tally's Folly), acclaimed novelist Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club) and bestselling author John Grisham (The Firm), amongst many others.

 

Ramraz began his career at Creative Artists Agency with such clients as Damon Lindelof ("Lost"), Ryan Murphy ("American Horror Story") and Anthony Zuiker ("CSI"). His strongest relationship was with director Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow), who invited him to join his creative team over at Hypnotic, where they went on to make TV series and films such as "The OC", "Suits", Jumper, several of the Bourne films and many others. Ramraz was involved creatively on projects such as Iron Man (with Marvel Studios), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (with director Doug Liman) and many others. Ramraz went on to co-run development for the US division of Japanese powerhouse Kadokawa Pictures, then take on an executive position at Marvel Studios under Kevin Feige, right at the inception of the MCU. Working on the first true Marvel films was a special and challenging part of his career.

 

As a professor and consultant, Ramraz has worked and lectured all over the world, including Spain, France, The Netherlands, Australia, Chile, Israel, Mexico, Bulgaria, Italy and at colleges and universities all over the United States, including USC, Columbia and UCLA. He currently mentors under-represented writers and creators, and works with his wife's Lilith Film Collective to mentor women writers, and especially women over 50 who are pivoting into a new career. The films he's consulted on have gone on to worldwide box office success and acclaim, including Oscars for Best Screenplay and Best Picture.

 

His most recent films as producer are now available on streaming, and his latest feature was produced in conjunction with Radio Silence, the outfit behind the Scream sequels and the hit film Ready or Not. Ramraz's films - in addition to successful theatrical and steaming runs - have been featured and/or won awards in film festivals worldwide, including Cannes, Slamdance, Amsterdam, Chelsea, Berlin, Jerusalem, Sitges, La Mano, Brooklyn, Madrid, Telluride, New York and many others.
